A place where YOU can be YOU and discover YOU

Our History

Starting in 1920 with classes, an orchestra, and Friday Night Socials the Wesley Foundation has been a place for Christians and those seeking a better understanding of the Christian Faith to build friendships.  The present location was built in 1957 offering a place for students to gather, study, and relax.  The program is growing and realizing a new vision, including renovations to accommodate the growing needs of the students and the ministry.

The Wesley Foundation was awarded the Richard Hicks Award for Bridging the Color Gap in Campus Ministry in 2007.  The Wesley Ministry stills seeks out ways to provide a place for all to feel welcome and able to share their faith.

With over 600 hundred students gracing the halls of the Wesley Student Center in its prime to today where nearly 150 students come to the coffeehouse, worship services, Bible Studies, and other events Wesley is making a great impact on the students of Penn State University.
